The purpose of the Denton Inquiry 4 Lifelong Learning Grant is to fund a community-wide collaborative effort in Denton Texas to build an age-appropriate, spiral information literacy curriculum that will prepare incoming college freshmen for college-level research as well as support them through doctoral-level research.

Guided Inquiry Design Guided Inquiry Design is a team approach to teaching and learning where teachers and school librarians, along with other specialists, join together to design and implement inquiry learning. Steps include Open, Immerse, Explore, Identify, Gather, Create, Share, and Evaluate. This process is integrated into the information literacy curriculum units developed for this project.
